They say a photograph is worth a thousand words, but I believe an image is strongest when it conveys a powerful few. Or when it evokes one overwhelming emotion.
That idea is the motivation behind Project Hands, a mission to tell the stories that shape lives, tear down walls and open eyes. By narrowing a portrait to a person’s hands, their story speaks volumes.
Through more than 50 inspiring interviews with guests at the Roanoke Rescue Mission, Project Hands is a portrait of the human spirit and its incredible resiliency.
